Prepare, play, close and rate a match
Follow the match from the planned fixture to player feedback.
Before you start
Who can do this: Assigned coaches and club owners.
Package: Core match management; sport settings determine available scores and stats.
If the feature is not shown, ask the club owner whether it is available for your club and role.
Steps
- Open Matches and choose Create match, or open a planned fixture for your team.
- Check the opponent, date, venue and notes, then open Prepare.
- Choose the squad and lineup; absence hints help you decide but do not block selection.
- Start the match from Play when it begins.
- Record the sport’s period or set scores and match statistics as play progresses.
- Open Close, review the final result, then choose End match or End match and rate players. A draw is available only when the sport allows it.
- Open Rate players to record player ratings and notes.
- Choose Full evaluation for a player to carry the match into their development record.
- Reopen a closed match if an authorised correction is needed.
